Are you a brewpub/restaurant?

We are not a typical restaurant, but we do have a food truck on site, open every day for lunch. We also offer a variety of snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Please note that ALL of our seating is outside.

When are you open?

Our season begins the first weekend in May and ends in mid October. To be sure we're open for your visit, check the Taproom Hours on this site, or give us a call: 207-596-0011

Do you allow dogs?

We do welcome well-behaved dogs on leashes. Please note, reactive/aggressive dogs will be asked to leave.

Can we bring our own food?

We have a small food truck on premises. If what we serve there doesn't suit you, you are welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages. (Though we do sell bottled water, root beer, and ginger beer!)

Do you host private events?

We do not host private events.

Do you have inside or outside seating?

All of our seating is outside. We provide several outside tables and seating options, most of which are protected from sun and light rain.

Do you only serve beer?

Beer and hard seltzer are the only alcoholic beverages we serve. We strive to keep a range of beers on tap to suit many different beer preferences.

Monhegan Coffee Roasters and The Mooring Chain Cafe - Coffee shop and cafe serving espresso drinks and other beverages as well as a selection of ready to eat breakfast and lunch items.

Monhegan Store - Groceries, breakfast sandwiches, beer, wine. In the middle of town.

Monhegan Trucking - A necessary service if renting a house on the island. Available at every boat for trucking luggage and supplies.
